What we collect and how we protect player and family information.

Protecting our players. This public site shares team-level information only — scores, schedules, team statistics, action photos, and coach-forward content. We do not publish player rosters, individual player statistics, or anything that identifies an individual minor on public pages.

What we collect and store

Everything that identifies a specific person lives inside the authenticated team portal, never on this public site. That includes:

  • Account information — for coaches, staff, and parents: name, email address, phone (optional), role, and a securely hashed password (Argon2id — we never store passwords in readable form).
  • Player information — name and optional nickname, jersey number, roster status, grade and graduation year, height and weight, per-game and season statistics, and home school.
  • Health & equipment — injury records and clinical notes, issued equipment, and player forms/eligibility, entered and viewed by coaches.
  • Photos — team and action photos, re-encoded on upload to strip embedded metadata (including location). A family can opt any player out of photos.
  • Family links — the connection between a parent account and their child, which a coach must approve before any of the child's information is shown.
  • Activity records — announcements, team chat messages, sign-in timestamps, and an internal audit log of changes, kept for account security and accountability.

How minors' information is protected

Access is role-based and enforced on every page and request: a parent sees only their own approved child's information; a player sees only their own; coaches see the team; no family can see another family's data. Film and individual data are gated to players and coaches. Photo opt-out is honored everywhere a photo could appear, including direct links. Parent access to a child requires coach approval.

Your choices

Families can export their account and player data, or request account deletion, from Account settings. Deletion is handled by an administrator and preserves only what team records require.

This page describes our current data practices in plain language. It is not a complete legal privacy statement; a formal policy (including COPPA compliance for youth participants) will be published before public launch.
